Our mission
The I LOVE SHONA series is designed to help young children in the diaspora discover the Shona language. Often, children’s books are the first introduction they have to reading and learning, and by creating a book that is both engaging and educational, children can not only learn Shona itself but also the cultural traditions and practices associated with it.

By instilling a love for Shona at a young age, children around the world with Zimbabwean roots will be more likely to continue learning and using it throughout their lives, helping to ensure that the language and culture are preserved for future generations.
